On behalf of the East Bay Vintners Alliance we’d like to thank all our sponsors and those that joined us to make the 10th annual Urban Wine Xperience the biggest ever!
There were more than 1,400 gathered in Oakland’s sunny Jack London Square for our wine-tasting event last Saturday, making it the largest UWX in its 10 year history – a great way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the East Bay Vintners Alliance.
We’d like to thank the sponsors that made it possible: Weatherford BMW, Safeway, First Republic Bank, Mowat Mackie & Anderson LLP, Ramondin, Yelp, Oaklandish, Oakland magazine, KOIT/KBLX, Jack London Square, Visit Oakland, Vox Populi, Port of Oakland, Uber, East Bay Express, Mr. Espresso, KTVU-TV, Urban Vino, RedCap, Red Oak Realty.
A special thanks to Dave Clark, morning anchor for KTVU-TV (Channel 2) who went above and beyond as our MC, and we’d like to thank him for his support.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Alameda County Community Food Bank. The donation will be announced.
Thank you to members of the East Bay Vintners Alliance who poured their best reds, whites, roses, sparklings and honey wine (mead): Aubin Cellars, Bishop’s Vineyard, Campovida, Carica Wines, Cerruti Cellars, Chouinard Vineyard and Winery, Dashe Cellars, Irish Monkey Cellars, Jeff Cohn Cellars, Lusu Cellars, Mead Kitchen, Paradox Wines, R&B Cellars, Rock Wall Wine Company, Rosenblum Cellars, Stage Left Cellars, Two Mile Wines, Urban Legend Cellars, and Urbano Cellars.
